The Town of Pelham by-law enforcement division focuses on educating and informing residents about our town's rules and regulations.
The overwhelming majority of residents comply with all town by-laws. When an infraction does occur, it is usually due to a resident not being aware that a by-law exists for the particular action they have engaged in.
By-law Enforcement receives complaints from the general public and directs them to the appropriate agency having jurisdiction or processes them in accordance with the Town's Complaint Policy. The more common by-law matters include: barking dogs, businesses in residential areas, signs, dumping garbage, fences, derelict vehicles, weeds and noise.
By-law Enforcement Services requires that all complaints be filed with a By-law Service Request Form or through the Public Service Request (PSR) system which is available on this website. Please follow the instructions on which ever form you choose. Should you have any questions regarding this process please contact Craig Genesse, By-law Enforcement Officer, or Paula Park, Fire & By-law Enforcement Services Administrative Assistant.
