Become a Snow Angel Pelham Cares Inc. in partnership with the Town of Pelham offers a volunteer snow/ice removal service for persons within the Town of Pelham urban areas* living with physical disabilities and who are incapable of carrying out sidewalk snow/ice removal at their place of residence. Additionally, that there is no able-bodied person living at home who is able to shovel the snow.& Urban area as defined by the Town of Pelham Official Plan, Section 1 - Land Use - The snow angel program is truly "the neighbourly thing to do" and a great way for high school students to round out their 40-hour Community Involvement requirement. How to Become a Volunteer Snow Angel Anyone 14 years of age or older may volunteer for this program Volunteers will be required to complete a screening process. A registration form (see below) must be completed and returned to the Community Infrastructure Services Department, Town of Pelham, 20 Pelham Town Square, P.O. Box 400, Fonthill, Ontario L0S 1E0. Upon being matched with a registered client, volunteers provide the following service: Clearing of snow and ice from municipal sidewalks and at driveway entrances left by snow plows

How to Apply to Receive the Snow Angels Service. Those eligible to receive this service (regardless of age), Pelham residents must provide one of the following: An Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) cheque stub; or An Accessible Parking Pass; or A completed Physician statement.Client application forms are available in person at Pelham Cares Inc., 124 Hwy #20 East, Fonthill or by mail at P.O.
