The Official Plan is a municipality's blueprint for the future. It contains maps that show where residential, commercial, institutional, recreational, and industrial development can go and what areas must be protected from development. It also contains information on the future expansion of the Town's network of roads, water mains, and sewers, and policies to guide municipal planning decisions.
