Clerk's Department
General Committee Structure
The General Committee consists of the following divisions:
- Corporate Services,
- Community & Infrastructure Services, and
- Planning & Development Services.
Corporate Services
Deals with all matters related to personnel, budget and other financial matters, fire and library.

- Vice-Chair from December 1, 2008 to November 30, 2010 – Councillor J. Lane
Community & Infrastructure Services
Deals with matters relating to roads, sidewalks, streetlights, sewers, water, cemeteries and drainage. It also deals with all matters related to the provision of parks, recreational services, facilities, special events and community development within the community.

Planning & Development Services
Deals with matters involving development proposals, subdivision plans, zoning by-laws, official plans and development arising from severances, as well as building and by-law enforcement.
